The Vision

The entrance to this custom hilltop home makes a stunning impression with a heavy timber porch set against a stone facade. It opens into a grand living space featuring a barrel vault ceiling.The property also boasts a pool house with a pavilion as well as large finished basement, both of which called for Rockwood’s special touch.

The Build

The home’s custom front doors are made from walnut, with each door featuring six divided lights. The dark, natural tones lend a feeling of old-world craftsmanship, while the matte finish and hardware deliver modern style.

Arched custom millwork mirrors the contour of the interior ceiling, creating a seamless transition from the front porch. In the basement, custom barn doors feature a beaded panel design to bring a unique style element to a play room. Outside, Rockwood crafted an acccordion pass-through window for the pool house, creating a functional bar area and offering protection from the weather.
