The Vision

When redeveloping a historic building in Cleveland, Ohio, a real estate firm turned to Rockwood to create an updated entrance.The design was to remain true to the building’s architecture while dramatically enhancing its curb appeal.

The Build

Featuring Ribbon Sapele, an African hardwood, the new door and transom from Rockwood brought together many special details. A wooden overhang and corbels complement the original stonework and backplates were designed to accommodate reproduction light fixtures.

For high-end commercial door projects, Rockwood gives special attention to details such as grain and color uniformity, ease of installation and construction timelines.
