What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC routers to machine custom wood doors and frames.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and hardware templates.
- Machine parts with precision to ensure proper fit and function of hardware.
- Use precision measuring tools (like calipers and tape measures) to verify tolerances.
- Identify and help prevent potential issues — we look out for each other here.
- Keep your work area organized, clean, and safe.
- Learn a variety of wood species and hardware components as you grow.
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn from mistakes.
- Strong interest in learning to operate CNC machinery.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Comfort with math, measurements, and reading technical drawings.
- Ability to manage time well and work independently or on a team.
- Prior experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or machining is a plus, but not required.
